The Knights of the Square Table started out as a group of five men who met in the Foster home twice a week. The meetings were very secret but we do know that singing was an important part of each session. They soon tired of the popular songs of the day so Stephen began composing songs for the group. It was this group's need for new songs that actually started Stephen on his career of songwriting. Lou'siana Belle was one of the songs he composed for this group. Background music is in the key of D
